Tattelecom, operating in the Volga Federal District, provided its subscribers with free access in test mode to a number of socially significant Internet services. Their use will not be charged and will become possible even with a zero or negative balance.
On January 15, in his message to the Federal Assembly, Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed to prepare and implement the Accessible Internet project, which would provide people with free access to socially significant Internet services. Among them are a portal of public services, sites of federal and regional authorities. Access to such resources is expected to be free throughout the country from March 1, 2020. Currently, a complete list of services is being compiled at the Ministry of Digital Development, Telecommunications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation, and other preparatory work is being carried out with operators.
For Tattelecom subscribers – individuals – access to the federal and Tatarstan government services portals (gosuslugi.ru and uslugi.tatarstan.ru) and the use of the corresponding mobile applications – Government Services and RT Government Services, access to the websites of the President of the Russian Federation (for free) kremlin.ru), Government of the Russian Federation (government.ru), Council of the Federation of the Russian Federation (council.gov.ru), State Duma of the Russian Federation (duma.gov.ru), President of the Republic of Tajikistan (president.tatarstan.ru), Government of the Republic of Tajikistan (prav. tatarstan.ru), State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan (gossov.tatarstan.ru), the portal “E-Education in the Republic of Tatarstan” (edu.tatar.ru) and the Health Portal Nia Republic of Tatarstan (zdrav.tatar.ru).
